Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to promote and sell construction equipment and manage rental agreements. Primary focus of accounts in the West Georgia market but up to two hour radius from our location. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a passion for building client relationships in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for construction equipment and rentals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including contractors and construction firms.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical information to prospective customers.
  • Negotiate sales and rental agreements to meet revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction post-sale or rental.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, heavy equipment, or a related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, OR relevant trade experience in construction or equipment operation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a field-based sales territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within West Georgia.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling or renting heavy construction equipment.
  • Familiarity with West Georgia’s construction industry and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer skills.
