We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with strong system-level technical expertise in the robotics industry, combined with a proven background as a OS/SW developer and/or Software FAE (Field Application Engineer). This role bridges Mobility robotics technology and strategic business development, and need sales ability working closely with leading Korean robotics companies including Hyundai Motor Group Robotics Division, Doosan Robotics, Hanwha Robotics, and Rainbow Robotics etc. The successful candidate will engage directly with R&D, system architects, and decision-makers, providing both technical credibility and commercial leadership. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Develop and execute business strategies for robotics customers in: Mobility robotics Manufacturing / industrial robots Delivery & logistics robots Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within major Korean robotics OEMs Lead technical-commercial discussions from early engagement through contract closure Build long-term strategic relationships with customer executives, engineering leaders, and procurement teams Technical Engagement & Pre-Sales Act as a technical advisor at the system architecture level, especially in: Real-time operating systems (RTOS) Safety-critical embedded systems Robotics control platforms ROS Support customers in system design decisions involving QNX OS and related middleware Provide pre-sales technical consulting, including: Requirement analysis System architecture discussions Proof-of-concept and feasibility studies Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and global technical teams Customer & Market Intelligence Understand customer roadmaps, system architectures, and long-term technology strategies Track robotics industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies Provide feedback to internal teams to influence product strategy and roadmap Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in: Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Software Engineering or a closely related field Experience Industry experience in robotics, embedded systems, or related fields Hands-on experience as: OS/SW engineer(knowledge on QNX is preferred ) , and/or Software FAE, system engineer, or embedded software architect Proven experience in customer-facing roles (pre-sales, FAE, technical sales, or business development) Strong understanding of: Robotics system architectures (ROS ) Real-time operating systems (RTOS) Embedded software platforms Safety and reliability requirements Skills Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills Capable of engaging both engineering teams and executive stakeholders Fluent in Korean; working-level English communication preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience working with automotive, industrial automation, or safety-critical systems Background in mobility platforms, autonomous systems, or industrial robotics controllers Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Over the past 35 years, QNX software, a subsidiary of BlackBerry has become a big part of everyday life.
