Description

About Us:
We’re S4labour, the go-to software for hospitality and convenience store brands looking to level up their labour management game. We help businesses run smoother, smarter, and more profitably with our cutting edge platform. Whether it’s a bustling pub or your favourite local convenience store, we’re all about making sure they’ve got the right people in the right place at the right time – easily.
Job Summary:
We’re on the lookout for a Junior Business Development Manager / Sales Manager who’s ready to take charge of the full sales cycle – from generating pipeline to sealing the deal. If you love the thrill of winning new business, thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, and want to make a real impact in hospitality, this role is for you. You’ll be responsible for managing deals end-to-end, responding to inbound leads, proactively driving outbound sales, and working closely with marketing and the wider team to grow our customer base.
This is a pure business development role for true hunters – your focus is on securing new business. Once you close a deal, our implementation and customer success teams take over, allowing you to move on to the next big opportunity.
Location:
This role is hybrid, so you’ll have the flexibility to work both from home and our Banbury office and, of course, in the field. However, during your induction phase you’ll need to be in the office more often to soak up all the knowledge and get fully onboarded.
What You’ll Be Doing:

New Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Own and manage the full 360° sales process – from prospecting to closing.
  • Work a defined territory to create outbound sales opportunities.
  • Handle pre-qualified inbound enquiries, identifying opportunities and moving them through the pipeline efficiently.
  • Conduct discovery calls, demos, and proposal meetings – both remotely and face-to-face.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a smooth handover to the onboarding team.

Strategic Engagement & Territory Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in hospitality.
  • Research, identify, and target high-potential customers through outbound sales activity.
  • Manage and optimise sales activities within a designated territory to maximise revenue.
  • Attend industry, networking and customer events to generate business.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure alignment between sales efforts and campaigns.
  • Provide regular feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM (Salesforce), keeping track of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • You could be an SDR eager to step up into your first AE/Sales Manager role, with 1-3 years of SaaS sales experience, or you might come from a field sales background outside of software.
  • Proven ability to generate, manage, and close sales opportunities.
  • A hunter mentality – proactive, tenacious, and motivated by hitting targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to sell to senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to manage multiple sales cycles and prioritise effectively.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and trade shows.

Why You’ll Love It at S4labour:

  • Competitive base salary + OTE – because your success should be rewarded.
  • Hybrid working – a mix of remote and office-based flexibility.
  • The chance to sell a market-leading product in an exciting, growing industry.
  • Car allowance after passing probation (3 months)
  • A fun, collaborative team that’s passionate about what we do.
  • Opportunities to progress your sales career within a growing company.
