About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing Sales team in Queensland.

Ideally based in the Brisbane or Tingalpa area, this role is responsible for developing and managing industry partner relationships across South East Queensland, with a primary focus on supporting our Tingalpa and Southport branches.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – North, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing industry partner relationships, and increasing market share across your territory. This is an autonomous role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, building long-term relationships and driving business growth.

No two days are the same. You'll spend your time visiting industry partners, building referral networks, identifying new opportunities, collaborating with operational teams and ensuring our partners receive outstanding service and support.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

• Develop and secure new profitable business opportunities within your territory.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing industry partners and referral partners.
• Conduct strategic sales planning and maintain a regular customer call cycle.
• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities.
• Promote I’m in the Right's services and value proposition to prospective partners.
• Maintain accurate customer information and activity records within the CRM.
• Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Prepare sales reports and provide competitor and market intelligence.
• Work closely with Operations and Accident Management teams to ensure positive customer and partner outcomes.
• Support presentations, proposals and business development initiatives as required.
• Demonstrate our values and contribute positively to our team culture.

You Will Need

• Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Proven success building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, networking and stakeholder management skills.
• A current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A "Go Getter" attitude with an enthusiastic personality.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment.
• High levels of professionalism, integrity and accountability.
• Experience using CRM systems (highly desirable).
• Automotive, insurance, accident management or related industry experience (highly desirable).
