QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Professional and Managed Services sales.
  • Cloud Computing-related sales or business development experience.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner and Associate Certifications are desirable but not mandatory
  • Influential, assertive, diplomatic, and able to network with industry peers.
  • Problem-solving skills and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced AWS Services Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our AWS Services team and play a key role in driving AWS Professional Services and Managed Services sales across our key routes to market, including the vendor, our partner base and their end-customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate exemplary core sales and relationship management skills and have sound knowledge of Cloud services and how these can be harnessed to transform an organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify market opportunities and industry trends.
  • Set revenue targets and develop account/territory plans.
  • Build relationships with AWS sellers and partner development teams.
  • Promote pre-sales, service offerings, and consulting capabilities.
  • Represent Ingram Micro at partner engagements and vendor events.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and penetrate new routes to market.
  • Manage complex sales engagements and hunt for new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and goal targets.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and report key account information.
  • Stay updated with current and future technologies.
