Site 2020, a leader in the traffic control technology industry, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. We have been in the industry for 10+ years and the addition of a Business Development Manager in Australia is the next step in our global expansion.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Development Manager position drives the continuous growth of Site 2020 by sourcing, developing, and managing of sales accounts. This position holds a large opportunity for professional growth in identifying business opportunities and driving sales through cultivation of relationships with clients. The job entails a large aspect of territory travel, with company vehicle, to develop and execute strategic sales plans.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of sales, business, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Valid Driver’s License & clean abstract
Responsibilities

Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Prospect, identify and generate new opportunities via cold calling, email, phone, Linkedin, etc. to build a pipeline of targeted prospects.
  • Manage sales pipeline through sequential states of the sales process: prospect, initial outreach, product demo, negotiation and close.
  • Manage relationships with c-level executives while navigating multiple decision-makers.
  • Conduct activities including outbound calls, emails and sales demonstrations with prospective clients in territory.
  • Using strong research skills and industry knowledge to answer inquiries about the product.
  • Travel 50% of the time to surrounding states.
