JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing Advertising and Marketing firm. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth by promoting our full suite of marketing and advertising services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing solutions, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in sales or client acquisition.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and research potential clients in targeted industries.
Generate leads through networking, events, referrals, and cold outreach.
Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships.
Understand client needs and propose tailored advertising and marketing solutions (BRANDING, Social Media, Content Marketing, etc.).
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Collaborate with the internal strategy and marketing teams to customize offerings for client needs.
Sales & Revenue Growth.
Drive the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
Maintain CRM systems and provide regular reports on sales pipeline, forecasts, and key performance metrics.
Collaboration
Work closely with creative, strategy, and account management teams to develop proposals and pitch presentations.
Coordinate with marketing to ensure alignment between business development efforts and brand messaging.
Stay updated with digital marketing trends and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in a marketing, advertising, or creative agency.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, media buying, branding, and creative services.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), MS Office/Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing network of industry contacts and clients.
Experience working with advertising campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, print, broadcast).
Understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
