Job Description Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office Starting Salary: $45,972.49 - $50,569.74 (salary to commensurate with experience) Skyward is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective customers, and helping shape the future of our sales pipeline. Click here for a full job description. What you’ll do: Generate new sales opportunities through phone, email, video, social media, and other outreach methods. Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects. Develop and follow a structured outreach process (method, cadence, timing). Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns and complete follow‑up. Schedule meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives. Document activities in Skyforce and assist with forecasting. Share market trends and competitive intel from prospect conversations. Partner with Sales Enablement to refine skills and prospecting strategies. Attend tradeshows as needed for lead generation. Build internal relationships and deepen product knowledge to effectively communicate value. What you’ll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Proven track record in software or technology prospecting. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasive writing skills. An engaging personality with the ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear, compelling way. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with video conferencing tools (e.g., WebEx). Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills. Valid driver’s license and insurability.
