We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the software development industry and sales experience in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of sales experience within software development or IT services companies, excellent networking skills, and a deep understanding of the Dubai market. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with clients, and delivering customized software solutions that align with their business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in custom software development, including web, mobile, and enterprise solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through networking, cold calls, events, and referrals.
- Develop strategies to penetrate untapped markets and industry verticals.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients in Dubai and the UAE region.
- Understand client business needs and propose tailored software solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with the delivery and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Targets and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to close deals.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and post-sales engagement.
- Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Keep up-to-date with market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights to management about emerging opportunities and risks in the Dubai software market.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and KPIs to track performance and progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in sales and business development within a software development or IT services company in Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of the Dubai and UAE market, including industry networks and key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets and sales KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of custom software development solutions such as mobile apps, web development, SaaS, and enterprise software.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Proficient in preparing and presenting proposals, presentations, and contracts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team environment.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tracking systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure), DevOps, and modern software technologies is a plus.
- Existing relationships with enterprises or decision-makers in key industries (e.g., finance, retail, healthcare) in Dubai.
