YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years experience in sales management or business development in CPG categories
  • Familiarity with Amazon and Brick and Mortar retail accounts
  • Proven experience building and managing sales materials and timelines
  • Strong presentation-building skills and comfort working with data, calendars, and timelines.
  • Comfort with Monday.com or similar project management tools
  • Understanding of retail sales cycles, promotional planning, and item setup
  • Proactive, follow-through mindset and collaborative working style
  • Ability to travel for key meetings and presentations (up to 5-10%)

Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Process Management

  • Lead Retailer Milestone Calendar, ensuring all internal teams are aligned and deadlines are met.
  • Manage and implement the National Promotional Calendar, driving consistency and alignment across channels.
  • Oversee Selling Strategy Development, including deck creation and content flow to ensure sales presentation materials are on-brand and effective.
  • Ensure new SKU setup and test accuracy of all SKUs in the Master Price List and Item File.

Business Development Execution

  • Kick-off retailer strategy sessions, bringing together key stakeholders to align on goals.
  • Drive the development of retail decks, from initial wireframe to polished presentation.
  • Partner with Sales on pricing, quotes, and promotional plans.
  • Track all business opportunities, ensuring accountability across Sales and cross-functional teams.

Retail Engagement & Opportunity Management

  • Attend retail meetings and presentations, capturing key takeaways and next steps.
  • Lead post-meeting debrief sessions to identify action items, responsibilities, and follow-up needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and project visibility in Monday.com and hold stakeholders accountable.
  • Support the Sales process from discovery to deal closure, identifying any gaps and proposing solutions.
  • Update business development trackers to reflect actionable changes.
  • Maintain communication with cross-functional teams to maintain accountability and keep projects on track.
  • Assist in managing gap-close strategies to meet budget objectives.
