Description Beach Residential is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development & Recruiting Manager to accelerate growth across the brokerage. This newly created role will focus on two critical priorities: Business Development: Identifying, cultivating, and securing new revenue-generating opportunities. Agent Recruitment: Attracting and onboarding high-performing real estate agents who contribute to long-term brokerage success. This position is central to achieving our strategic objectives, including expanding our productive agent count, increasing transaction volume, and strengthening our market footprint through both organic and acquisition-based growth. Requirements Roles and Responsibilities Business Development (Deal Sourcing & Growth) Identify, evaluate, and source new business opportunities for the brokerage—including buyer/seller leads, referral partnerships, and deal flow for Beach Residential agents. Build relationships with developers, builders, HOAs, relocation services, local businesses, and other organizations to generate consistent external deal opportunities. Partner with agents to strategically place sourced opportunities and facilitate smooth deal execution. Maintain a clear understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and regional growth opportunities. Support acquisition, merger, and absorption strategies by identifying and pre-qualifying brokerage targets. Agent Recruitment Develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy to attract high-producing and high-potential real estate agents. Proactively source candidates through networking, outreach, prospecting, career events, and industry channels. Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and candidate evaluations to ensure cultural and performance alignment. Maintain an updated pipeline of agent prospects with consistent follow-up and conversion activity. Work closely with leadership to refine value propositions and agent onboarding processes. Track recruiting metrics and deliver ongoing reporting on pipeline, conversions, and performance results. Coordinates with and meets with external consultant on a routine basis related to agent recruiting, performance, and coaching. Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with leadership to align recruitment and BD efforts with the long-term growth plan and performance benchmarks. Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and content supporting recruitment and brand visibility. Work with Operations to ensure seamless agent onboarding and integration. Provide regular reporting on KPIs, productivity, and ROI of recruiting and deal-generation efforts. Participate in annual planning, performance evaluations, and strategic reviews. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 3–5+ years of experience in real estate recruiting, sales, business development, or brokerage operations. Strong understanding of residential brokerage models, commission structures, and agent performance metrics. Demonstrated success in revenue-oriented roles where performance directly impacts compensation. Proven ability to generate leads, build pipelines, and close recruiting or business development opportunities. Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative team. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience in real estate sales, recruiting, business development, or brokerage operations may substitute for a degree.
