About the Role We are looking for a transport-focused Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in our Transport vertical. This is a strategic role for a proven business developer who thrives on winning new business and shaping innovative transport solutions. You’ll leverage our national network and assets to deliver tailored linehaul, bulk freight, and end-to-end logistics solutions for major customers. Key Responsibilities Drive new business acquisition in transport-heavy sectors such as FMCG, retail, automotive, and industrial. Develop and execute growth strategies that expand our footprint in bulk freight and contract logistics. Build market intelligence through competitor analysis and customer insights to identify emerging opportunities. Collaborate with operations, pricing, and commercial teams to design customer-centric transport solutions. Lead commercial negotiations and secure long-term contracts that deliver value for both customers and the business. Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Qualification A relevant university degree or equivalent (essential). Skills and Experience Proven success in business development within transport or logistics, with a track record of winning and growing major accounts. Deep understanding of transport operations, including linehaul, 3PL, and warehousing. Experience designing complex transport solutions and leading commercial engagements. Strong financial acumen and previous exposure to commercial or pricing roles. A well-established network of industry contacts across transport and logistics. What moves you?
