Position Description The primary focus of this position will be to identify and develop business opportunities with new and existing clients, specifically in the underground storage solutions sector. Essential Functions Identify, meet and develop rapport with those persons within target-companies who influence project decision management Maintains and develop relationships and services existing/new clients Develop and implement strategic plans for proposed projects. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients/prospects Respond to client's/prospect's questions and requests. Assist in proposal preparation and contract negotiations. Coordinate the writing of technical papers for publishing in appropriate trade journals. Ensure that Customer Relationship Management System is up to date and accurate Participate in industry trade shows. Preparation of sales call reports Continuously maintain product and industry knowledge and interpersonal skills Requirements Qualifications 5 - 10 years of experience in engineering or business development Prefer sales experience in an oil/gas EPC company, and/or; Proven sales leadership experience in the underground storage solutions industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of engineering requirements pertaining to the oil and gas industry. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Competencies Results oriented Customer focused Impact and influence Business and people acumen Team Player Work Environment/Physical Demands Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Frequent sitting and operating a computer. Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or office materials. Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
