On we go… Role Mission: As a Business Development Manager focused on venues, promoters and festivals, your mission is to help grow Tixel’s footprint across the long tail of the live events ecosystem, delivering a great experience for partners while converting meaningful, repeatable GMV. This role sits at the intersection of sales, partner experience, and operational execution. The gig: Convert inbound demand efficiently Own and close inbound venue and emerging festival leads generated through integrations, marketing channels and industry events Qualify opportunities appropriately and progress them through to close without excessive hand-holding. Deliver a strong partner experience Ensure venues and festivals feel supported, understood, and confident working with Tixel. Set clear expectations and act as a trusted point of contact throughout the sales process. Own a defined segment of GMV Manage and close small and medium sized partnerships end-to-end. Confidently handle negotiations, proposals, and commercial terms. Escalate edge cases and larger strategic opportunities to the Head of Business Development. Support broader go-to-market efforts Work with Tixel Commercial Team to prepare for and attend conferences, and follow up on conference leads with thoughtful research and context. Conduct targeted outbound to the right live event organizers at the right time. Represent Tixel at industry events. Operate with discipline Maintain strong CRM hygiene, proposal management, and internal communication. Share insights and feedback to improve messaging, process, and conversion. Skills: Deep understanding of the events landscape: Demonstrates a working knowledge of the U.S. music and events industry, capable of effective communication and relationship building with key players. Resilience and tenacity: Shows grit and determination, especially in establishing a new market presence. Embraces challenges and has the endurance to thrive in a competitive environment. Business development expertise: Proven ability to source, qualify, and close new business opportunities in a consultative manner. Entrepreneurial spirit: You’re a proactive builder who takes ownership of growth. You aren’t afraid to test unconventional sales channels, leverage AI for smarter outreach, and continuously refine our internal processes for maximum efficiency. Responsibilities
The mission is to grow Tixel’s footprint across the live events ecosystem by focusing on venues, promoters, and festivals, delivering a great partner experience while converting meaningful, repeatable Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).
