Description
Lead the growth of Solarvest's utility-scale solar projects through effective business development strategies. Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities within the utility sector, including partnerships and government projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility companies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners. Oversee the proposal development process for utility projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and technical specifications. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes to inform business strategies and identify growth opportunities. Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and legal, to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects. Present project proposals, business cases, and updates to senior management and potential clients. Monitor project performance and provide strategic guidance to align with company objectives. Actively participate in industry conferences and networking events to promote Solarvest and its utility offerings. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus. 5+ years of experience in business development or a related field, specifically within the utility or renewable energy sector. Proven track record of successfully closing high-value contracts and building strategic partnerships. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and trends in the utility sector. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Willingness to travel for business as needed. Passion for renewable energy and commitment to sustainability initiatives.
