Position overview Responsible for driving HBK's China business growth by identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities. This role is pivotal in formulating and executing strategies that expand HBK's Simulation business footprint in China, increase revenue, and build strategic partnerships. By leading cross functional teams, analyzing market trends and ensuring compliance with global regulations, ensuring sustainable growth and competitive advantage. The role also involves positioning HBK VI-grade as a leader in the industry, both through market penetration and brand enhancement. Key Responsibilities Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, new or adjacent markets, establish partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A that aligns with the company's growth objectives. Oversee the creation of sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets in existing and new markets. Working closely with the sales team to align efforts and ensure cohesive execution of the sales strategy. Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective campaigns that support High Right To Win (HRTW) application segment/goals. Develop thought leadership through industry events, conferences, SoMe and other networking opportunities. Create content with cross functional teams across ISV business unit that support business development goals. Analyze market trends, customer needs, gap analysis, buying processes and competitor activities to refine growth strategies. Work with segment managers to support the development and execution of strategies. Provide feedback to the segment managers based on client needs and market trends. Regularly report on progress, challenges and outcomes to senior management. Professional qualifications You hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher level qualification. Extensive experience managing business development, product management, strategic development or developing key accounts in a technology based business within the automotive industry . Personal skills Developed and diversified communication skills and techniques . Prepared to identify, seek and engage new contacts whilst demonstrating value that supports long term relationships . Attitude and capability to operate in a highly matrix hierarchical structure . Knowledge of the automotive industry and the macro trends that impact the industry. Knowledge of enterprise development and customer success management. Commercial awareness and ability to value sell. High standard of professional integrity. Coaching and team leadership skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to establish clear goals and focus on objectives to achieve targets. Willingness to spend more time with customers than in the office. Ways to stand out from the crowd A proven record in growing business.
