This opportunity in a nutshell A Business Development Manager is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts by providing technical service that creates value and strengthens relationships. The role focuses on maintaining revenue, ensuring price capture, and improving gross profit, while also identifying new product opportunities and occasional new business prospects within existing customers. How you’ll add value Performs a wide range of complex, nonstandard tasks using advanced technical knowledge and skills. Works independently without established procedures, applying judgment to determine best methods. Analyzes project requirements and recommends effective methods and processes. Supports the design and development of new or modified equipment, systems, or methods for improved performance. Evaluates, calibrates, and troubleshoots technical issues to ensure accuracy and reliability . Leads and mentors junior team members; may assign tasks and manage workflow. Work has significant impact on the assigned area, where errors could affect schedules or mission success. What you need to be successful Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical or business field. At least 5 years of relevant experience in a specialized technical or operational role. Extensive knowledge of specialized functions and their practical applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing complex technical situations. Comprehensive understanding of both general and specific aspects of the job. Ability to apply technical expertise to real-world challenges and process improvements. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and guide technical discussions.
