Job Description Minor Hotels is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to support and grow corporate, government, MICE and leisure business across our Western Australia and Northern Territory portfolio. Reporting to the Area Director of Sales – SA/WA/NT, this role focuses on developing new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. It’s well suited to a commercially minded sales professional looking to step into a broader regional role and continue building their career within hospitality. Key responsibilities Drive corporate, government, MICE and leisure revenue across WA and NT properties Grow existing accounts while actively developing new business (70/30 focus) Implement group sales strategies to maximise occupancy and profitability Analyse market trends, competitor activity and forward occupancy Manage and maintain key client relationships through face-to-face and virtual engagement Work closely with Hotel Managers, Revenue, Marketing and Commercial teams Attend industry events, trade shows and networking functions Ensure accurate reporting, CRM management and data integrity Identify cross-selling opportunities across the Minor Hotels portfolio Qualifications Proven experience in a Business Development role within hospitality or tourism Demonstrated success in increasing revenue and building strong client portfolios Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills Highly organised with excellent time management and planning capability Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader sales team Professional presentation and a proactive, service-driven mindset Additional Information At Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
