ROLE OVERVIEW

As our new Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving company growth—identifying new trade opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and expanding our brand footprint across independent retailers in the UK.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• PROSPECT & ACQUIRE Develop and nurture relationships with independent retailers, garden centres, and national chains to grow Wind Designs’ market share across core categories—arts & crafts, plush, action figures, outdoor toys, Games, and more.
• PORTFOLIO EXPANSION Introduce and promote new brands (e.g., Gui Gui launched in July 2025), strategically aligning with retailer needs and product trends.
• STRATEGIC SALES PLANNING Co-create sales strategies and plans—including pricing proposals, promotional programmes, and trade shows—to maximise category presence.
• CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION Partner closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure seamless product delivery and retailer satisfaction.
• PRODUCT & MARKET INTELLIGENCE Stay ahead of toy and leisure market trends to provide insights on product performance and new retail opportunities.
