JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and expanding the agency’s footprint in target markets. This is a critical role that combines strategic planning, sales, and partnership development within the digital marketing landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within a digital marketing agency or similar service-based industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services and trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.

PREFERRED SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED)

  • Experience working in or with creative or marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and analytics tools.
  • Network within industries such as eCommerce, tech, SaaS, or professional services.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, inbound leads, partnerships, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and propose tailored digital marketing solutions (SEO, PPC, social media, web development, content marketing, etc.).
  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and pitch presentations.
  • Work closely with the marketing and strategy teams to align business development goals with agency capabilities.
  • Manage and update CRM systems, sales pipeline, and weekly reporting.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to refine sales strategy.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue and client acquisition targets.
