We’re on the lookout for a commercially minded and proactive Business Development & Marketing Advisor to join our Sydney office.
This role plays a key part in driving the implementation of the firm’s National Business Development (BD) and Marketing Plan while also supporting the strategic growth of our Sydney practice. Working closely with partners and senior lawyers, you will develop and execute BD and marketing initiatives that enhance client engagement, brand visibility and business growth.
Responsibilities
Partnering directly with Sydney-based Partners and senior lawyers to support their business development goals and client growth strategies
Leading the planning and execution of client events—setting the strategy, managing logistics, and ensuring exceptional delivery
Driving tailored BD initiatives across key sectors and practice groups, with a focus on cross-selling and client relationship development
Collaborating with the People & Development team in Sydney to deliver the firm’s PLATFORM & ELEVATE event series
Acting as the key contact for Sydney-based sponsorships—managing relationships, ROI tracking, and activation
Preparing client and market insights, fee reports, and other commercial analysis to inform strategic decisions
Supporting the development of legal directory submissions and contributing to award nominations
Managing Sydney-related marketing content on the firm’s website and intranet, and contributing to firm-wide social media and e-marketing campaigns
Contributing to national marketing projects and initiatives as a member of the national BD & Marketing teamHelping maintain and enhance the firm’s CRM and marketing platforms, supporting effective client engagement and communications
