As a Business Development and Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business through lead generation, sales conversion, and marketing strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-5 years of experience in lead generation, sales, or customer service.
- Proven ability to cold call, generate leads, and close sales.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
- Marketing experience or certifications.
- Knowledge of the rope access industry or related sectors (oil and gas, construction, civil, etc.).
- Proficiency in tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Analytics, and social media management platforms.
- Highly motivated self-starter with abilities to perform outreach sales.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Business Development and Marketing Specialist is tasked with identifying, generating, and converting sales opportunities, while promoting and marketing Pacific Ropes’ training programs and equipment services. In collaboration with our Directors and internal team, you will develop and execute strategies to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. Additionally, you will provide service to clients who visit the store.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach. Conduct research on target audiences using LinkedIn, HubSpot, and industry directories.
- Sales Conversion: Engage with leads to convert them into sales opportunities for our training and equipment services. You will also be responsible for selling products to customers that comes into the store.
- Marketing Content Creation: Develop and coordinate marketing materials and content, both digital and print, for use across various platforms.
- Campaign Execution: Plan and execute marketing and sales campaigns that support the company’s growth objectives. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure campaigns are targeted and effective.
- Social Media & Online Presence: Manage and update the company’s social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and help build a dynamic online presence through platforms like YouTube and Instagram.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and support outreach to potential clients. Maintain accurate information in Salesforce and assist with CRM updates.
- Content Management: Oversee the creation and management of content for the website, blog, and email campaigns. Ensure timely updates to keep content fresh and relevant
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing messaging and marketing strategies.
- Reporting & Analytics: Compile performance reports for digital campaigns and social media activities using tools such as Google Analytics. Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven adjustments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Directors to set sales objectives, manage performance, and track progress toward goals.
