The Mid and West Wales Safeguarding Board for children and adults, CYSUR and CWMPAS, is looking for a Business Development Officer to support the delivery and implementation of the Regional Safeguarding Board’s annual strategic plan.
We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and business management skills who is capable of working independently and upon their own initiative, as well as excellent technical and IT skills, to include competence in the use of a variety of software packages including advanced Excel and Microsoft word.
Your duties and responsibilities will include the development and management of the Board’s website and communications platforms, as well as the collation and analysis of performance data. You will play a key role in the coordination and management of the regional policy and training groups and associated work programmes, as well as supporting in the coordination of individual case reviews. The role also offers the opportunity of undertaking bespoke project work to support the Board’s ongoing development.
You will join an established and experienced team and report to the Regional Safeguarding Board Manager.
You will be based in the Safeguarding Board’s Business Unit in Haverfordwest, however a location in any part of the Mid and West Wales region will be considered.
