Description

We are seeking a results-oriented and highly motivated Business Development Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with industry partners, and promoting Futures Canadian College’s programs to potential students and corporate clients. This role is crucial for driving growth and expanding our market presence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the education or training sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and establish professional relationships.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using a CRM system and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required for travel.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and research potential new clients, partners, and markets for college programs.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to generate new leads and business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with businesses, industry associations, and government agencies.
  • Conduct presentations and sales appointments to promote the college’s offerings, including diplomas, certificates, and corporate training solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Admissions and Academic departments, to develop and customize training solutions that meet the needs of employers.
  • Represent the college at networking events, career fairs, and other industry gatherings.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales activities, pipeline, and progress towards targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and business development activities in a CRM system.
