DESCRIPTION

Right at Home is seeking a motivated and dedicated Business Development Officer to drive growth and expand our aged care services within the community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders, promoting our high-quality home care services, and ensuring that the needs of our clients are met with compassion and professionalism. You will be working in a team that is responsible for business growth and retention of existing business.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the healthcare, aged care, or related sectors.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Western Australia applicants only.
• Previous experience in aged care is essential.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Knowledge of the aged care industry and understanding of client needs in this space.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Build and nurture relationships with local hospitals, health professionals, and community organizations to generate referrals.
• Attend community events and networking opportunities to increase the business.
• Continuously research the local aged care market, identifying new opportunities for growth.
• Work closely with operational staff to ensure that clients’ needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management, outlining business development activities, challenges, and successes.
