QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial sales, business development, or relationship management.
  • Solid understanding of wealth management, investment products, and capital markets in the GCC.
  • Experience selling Shariah-compliant funds or investment structures is a strong advantage.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive, target-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Bilingual: fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation confidence.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Business Development Officer plays a key role in identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth. This includes working with individual investors, institutions, and partners to promote investment products and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify new sales leads including HNWIs, UHNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and referral partners.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, investor briefings, and client meetings.
  • Understand clients’ financial goals and propose appropriate investment products or portfolios.
  • Work closely with portfolio and product teams to customize proposals and term sheets.
  • Prepare pitch decks, presentations, and sales collateral in both English and Arabic.
  • Track business development KPIs and submit regular sales and pipeline reports.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory changes that may affect sales strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with all CMA and internal sales conduct policies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in promoting ethical, Shariah-compliant investment practices.
