Role Overview RMA Energy is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Officer to support the growth of our clean energy initiatives. This role will focus on developing business opportunities, leading project proposals, and managing client and stakeholder relationships to drive sustainable growth in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities Prepare reports, papers, and presentations on potential projects for management review. Lead and coordinate project bidding and proposal submissions. Develop and maintain the project pipeline, including profit/loss analysis and customer engagement. Provide regular project status updates and presentations to the Head of Clean Energy and executive leadership. Collaborate with international teams to identify and develop new project opportunities. Conduct site surveys, support financial modeling, and prepare feasibility reports. Manage project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors across varied contract structures. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields; MBA or Masters degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in project or business development. Experience in renewable energy or the power sector strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of engineering processes, tools, and contractual frameworks. Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across cultures and backgrounds. Strong organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills. Fluent in English (minimum TOEIC 750 or equivalent); additional languages are an advantage. Willingness to travel and work upcountry or overseas as required.
