Description

The BD Officer will be responsible for end-to-end site acquisition, including site mapping, assessment, negotiation, site documentation, landowner/lessor relationship management, and feasibility studies for potential store locations. You will also build and maintain relationships with property owners and managers in the region. Key Responsibilities Consistently secure and recommend new market opportunities and profitable sites for store expansion. Analyze financial data, such as past and current financial reports, and develop strategies to cut costs and boost revenue. Prepare and manage the business development budget, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. Communicate and negotiate with lessors regarding lease terms, rent-free periods, rent concessions, and other contract or lease-related concerns. Draft and execute renewal contracts, contract amendments, mutual releases, quitclaims, and waivers. Consolidate, manage, and maintain lease data to ensure accurate and efficient data management. Conduct market research and site assessments, including feasibility studies, to identify suitable locations for new stores. Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, landlords, and real estate brokers to foster long-term partnerships. Ensure all documentation and contracts adhere to company policies and legal standards. Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 3-5 years of working experience in site acquisition, site development, network expansion, or property and asset management. Strong analytical and research skills with experience working with GIS systems. Effective negotiation skills and proven experience in managing stakeholder relationships. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of local real estate, land development, and zoning regulations is preferred. Flexibility and willingness to do fieldwork. Willingness to report to the head office as needed.
