JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an engaging, energetic and enthusiastic individual for this exciting role, responsible for the engagement and recruitment of employers in support of Adult Skills and Apprenticeships. The role is essential in building new relationships, increasing the organisation’s profile and penetrating new markets, serving as first contact to establish positive relationships generating work placements.
The post holder will be part of the Business Development Team, working closely with other Engagement Officers to engage employers on all platforms, reporting directly to the Business Development Team Leader. The role requires regular travel across the Northeast.
Where targets are exceeded a bonus structure is in place.

· Engage with employers, networks and referral agencies to promote, advertise and recruit Apprenticeships and Adult Skills learners
· Achieve and exceed monthly lead generation and recruitment targets
· Report and present on activity and achievements
· Raise awareness and disseminate information of the Springboard offer to employers, young people, adults and associated organizations
· Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads and recruitment; compliant with GDPR, funding and organization guidelines
· Operate with flexibility around location and programme
· Actively use social media platforms to promote recruitment opportunities
· Research and remain up to date with target markets and local labour market
· Attend employer and recruitment events to generate opportunities
