Business Development Professional – Homecare

We are currently looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Professional to support the growth of our self-funded client base and strengthen referral partnerships across the community.
Role Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing new referral relationships, increasing brand awareness, and generating leads through community outreach, networking, and engagement at events.
This is a client-facing, field-based role that is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, confidence in meeting new people, and a passion for making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with professionals, community groups, and potential referral sources.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities in both the private and funded care sectors.
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and local engagement opportunities.
- Organise and participate in community events and promotional activities to raise awareness of our services.
- Track referral activity and provide regular reports to management.
- Collaborate closely with Registered Managers and the marketing team to align business development efforts.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of leads and meet or exceed established targets.

- Comfortable with cold outreach and promoting services to new audiences.

- Able to present confidently and communicate the value of our care services effectively.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business development is essential, with experience in healthcare or social care being a plus.
Requirements:
 Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (travel between local sites required)
 Right to work in the UK
 Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, occasional evenings or weekends for events)
 Strong verbal and written communication skills
 Ability to use CRM and reporting tools
 Professional and well-presented at all times
 Successfully complete enhanced DBS checks
