Our client sells tailor-made marketing programs used by banks, insurance companies, retailers, and others to build customer loyalty. We are looking for a business development rep in Montreal who is used to selling a service with a sales cycle in excess of 12 months and selling value rather than price. This role is to find and nurture net new business.
Territory: Province of Quebec
Workplace: 3 days at downtown Montreal office + 2 days at home
Products/Services: Marketing services
Salary: Base $115,000
Commissions/Bonus: 25%-30% on base, overachievement possible
Car allowance: $/km
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

REQUIREMENTS:

Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%
Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%
Languages: French and English
Education: College degree
Training: Full on the job training provided
Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required
Years of experience: At least 5 years consultative sales experience
Other requirements: Has successfully sold into sales cycle greater than 6 months and with a total value of at least $500,000
