APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members. We have a permanent full-time opportunity to join the Media Licensing team in Sydney. The Business Development Representative role is responsible for researching, identifying and securing new digital partnership opportunities. The role drives revenue growth within the digital licensing team and ensure comprehensive licensing across the Australian and New Zealand digital landscape. The role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land. As a Business Development Representative, your responsibilities will include: Researching and identifying new digital licensing opportunities Undertaking compliance checks on current and potential digital clients to ensure accurate licensing Negotiating and securing new digital licence agreements Assisting Manager, Digital Licensing and Business Development, Digital Licensing in new business strategy and implementation Being a key contact for external digital licensing enquiries including monitoring and responding to enquiries via the digital inbox and customer service team To thrive in this role, you'll need: Ability to develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships Demonstrated ability to manage complex commercial matters and negotiations Ability to manage priorities and work to timelines Strong written and verbal communication What You'll Love: Our friendly and collaborative work environment.
