Title: Business Development Representative- Outbound Position Overview The Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in driving new business growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers through proactive outreach. This position is responsible for creating a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities for the Sales team by executing targeted outbound campaigns, building relationships with decision-makers, and articulating the value of our solutions. This role is ideal for a high-energy, goal-oriented professional who thrives on prospecting, relationship-building, and turning curiosity into opportunity. Key Responsibilities Identify, research, and engage potential leads through cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other prospecting tools. Conduct discovery conversations to understand the prospect’s business, pain points, and potential fit for the company’s solution. Qualify leads against established criteria and schedule high-quality meetings or demos for Account Executives. Maintain a consistent and structured cadence of outreach across assigned territories or verticals. Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, campaign strategy, and lead follow-up processes. Track all activities and communications in the CRM (e.g.,Salesforce) with a focus on accuracy and data integrity. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for outbound outreach, qualified meetings, and pipeline generation. Stay current with product updates, industry trends, and competitor activity to effectively position the solution. Represent the company professionally at trade shows, virtual events, and industry functions as required. Required Skills & Experience 1–3 years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development (preferably in SaaS or technology sales). Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening). Confidence and resilience in cold calling and handling objections. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or Outreach.io. Highly motivated self-starter with a hunter mentality and results-driven mindset. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
