Job Description
JOB TITLE: Business Development Representative, East
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Remote

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent in years of experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two to five years of experience in sales (preferably B2B)
  • CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Remote work experience a plus

  • Ability to effectively manage a large pipeline with a high closed won ratio

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, East and Director of Domestic Sales to establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with Excel Dryer management/office/factory staff, partners, distributors, contractors, end users and specifying architect/engineering firms .
  • Create, update and implement annual strategic plans with assigned key accounts and master distributors to achieve profitability.
  • Work with A&D department and distributor partners on construction platform (e.g., Dodge, ConstructConnect, etc.) projects.
  • Work with assigned master distributors and key accounts to promptly follow up on and close sales leads from trade shows, marketing campaigns, website inquiries, telephone calls and other sources.
  • Input leads, contacts, opportunities and tasks into Salesforce to track progress.
  • Provide regular training to designated personnel at master distributors and key accounts.
  • Participate in national, regional and local trade shows.
  • Prospect for new business.
  • Conduct hand dryer demonstrations, sales presentations, and lunch & learns for distributors, contractors, end users and architect/engineering firms.
  • Create sales forecasts for assigned master distributors and key accounts.
  • Set and achieve annual SMART goals, 90-day plans and scorecards.
  • Become a hand dryer industry expert on all competitor models.
  • Track and maintain expenses. Ability to pay for business expenses on a personal credit card that will be reimbursed within the following month.
  • Maintain confidentiality and use discretion with business information.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Business Development Manager, East and Director of Domestic Sales.

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
