As we expand into the new construction market, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Sales Representative to lead the charge in building relationships with home builders and growing our presence in this industry. POSITION OVERVIEW:

DL Cabinetry is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Sales Representative to drive business growth by expanding our professional client base. Operating in areas at least 100 miles outside any current DL Cabinetry store, the Business Development Sales Representative will build relationships with professionals handling projects of all sizes—from independent contractors and small businesses to new home construction companies completing thousands of homes annually. While cultivating the new home construction sector remains a growth opportunity, the majority of daily responsibilities will focus on partnering with smaller businesses and independent professionals. Travel is required to maintain relationships and to identify new prospects in other markets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2–5 years of experience in cabinetry sales recommended
  • Proven track record of sales success and client relationship management.
  • Experience in working with small businesses and independent contractors; connections in the new home construction sector are a strong advantage.
  • Existing contacts in the new construction building industry are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of cabinetry materials, construction processes, and industry trends.
  • Ability to leverage lead generation tools such as Zonda Metro Study effectively.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
