A fast-growing U.S.-based digital health company is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to lead go-to-market efforts for its tele-urgent-care solution tailored to self-funded employers. Reporting directly to the CEO, this contract role combines strategic sales design with hands-on execution, targeting national insurance brokers and employer groups. You'll be instrumental in building the sales function, defining strategy and processes, and driving revenue through consultative selling and CRM optimization. Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Outreach Research and identify insurance brokers focused on self-funded employer plans Execute targeted multi-channel campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) to book meetings Sales Execution Conduct discovery calls, present solutions, and support proposal development Co-sell with leadership to broker executives and employer C-suite buyers CRM & Pipeline Management Manage and refine HubSpot instance, including sequences, pipelines, and reporting Maintain clean data and deliver actionable sales forecasts Sales Operations & Design Advise on sales team structure, KPIs, incentives, and workflow handoffs Build scalable lead-to-close processes using internal tools and HubSpot Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with leadership to align strategy with market feedback Contribute to onboarding and mentoring of future sales hires Performance Reporting Deliver weekly and monthly dashboards on pipeline health, performance, and trends Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in B2B healthcare or insurance sales, with preference for those selling PEPM, SaaS, or subscription-based offerings to self-funded employers or brokers Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field CRM Skills: Advanced HubSpot user with experience managing full sales funnels Sales Abilities: Consultative selling and negotiation at the executive level Strong virtual presentation and communication skills Independent, strategic thinker who thrives in a startup-like environment Logistics: Must have a home office setup with stable internet and video capability Required overlap with U.S. Eastern Time for client engagement Schedule: 40 hours/week (flexible, with U.S. Eastern coverage required) Rate: Competitive hourly or project-based compensation (DOE) Duration: Initial 6-month term, with potential renewal
