Description Role Overview The Business Development Representative will play a key role in driving company growth by identifying market opportunities, developing customer relationships, and expanding product adoption across existing and new markets. This role combines business development, sales enablement, marketing strategy, and customer training to support long-term organizational growth. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Market & Growth Strategy Develop a deep understanding of existing markets, including how our products are differentiated in solving customer challenges and meeting core business needs. Assess new and emerging markets for product fit by identifying customer needs and evaluating how current or future product capabilities can meet those needs. Pipeline & Sales Execution Manage the growth pipeline (CRM), shepherding opportunities through all stages (prospect, qualified lead, evaluation, RFQ close). Conduct sales meetings and product demonstrations with prospective customers to understand needs and communicate product differentiation. Product & Customer Enablement Develop expertise in BSI’s flagship software products, MACE and ARMOR (prior experience a plus). Deliver customer training, including on-site training for new customers to ensure effective adoption and proficiency. Create training materials in multiple formats (videos, presentations, written guides, tutorials, strategies, and techniques) to support learning and reduce technical support needs. Assist with technical support and provide best-practice guidance to customers as appropriate. Support the development of user manuals and product documentation. Marketing & Events Create and manage a marketing plan that includes conferences, demonstrations, and media initiatives aligned with the company’s growth strategy. Plan and support events such as conferences, trade shows, demonstrations, and presentations to drive brand visibility and lead generation.
