You have 2 to 4 years of experience in business development and sales, with fluency in both French and English being mandatory, and proficiency in Italian, Dutch, or German considered a plus. Strong time management skills are essential for success in this role, as is possessing excellent written communication and presentation abilities. Experience in negotiation would be beneficial. You enjoy the thrill of the “hunt” and are proactive in exploring new avenues and pathways for execution. A well-developed sense of self-accountability, motivation, and ambition are crucial traits that you possess.
Moreover, you are technologically savvy and have a solid understanding of business operations. You understand sales performance metrics and deliverables, and you have hands-on experience in various sales techniques, including cold calling. You are proficient in tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Drift, as well as Google and Microsoft Suite. Familiarity with platforms like SalesLoft or Outreach would further enhance your ability to meet the demands of this role effectively.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Ultimately, you will help drive sales of the NewStore Omnichannel Platform, contributing to the business’s long-term growth in France.
You will create demand for our solutions within a new, emerging but critical market. Creation of Qualified Leads and source net-new sales opportunities with French-based retail brands—targeted outbound outreach (cold call, email, social, and more), qualifying and converting leads, event recruitment, and close collaboration with the French sales team.
You’ll gain B2B sales experience in enterprise software—this position lays the foundation for a successful career with growth opportunities at the company for a candidate who is coachable, hardworking, curious, and able to hit their KPIs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, your primary focus will be on building a robust top-of-funnel pipeline, initiating contact with potential clients through various outbound outreach methods such as calls, emails, social media, and more. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in qualifying inbound leads and converting them into opportunities. Collaboration with the French sales team, including Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Account Executives (AEs), is essential to align on key account targets and ensure cohesive strategies.
You’ll also be tasked with driving attendance to NewStore events and securing meetings with prospects at industry tradeshows and conferences. Understanding client needs and offering solutions to their business problems will be central to your role. Building lasting relationships with leaders in the retail industry will be another key aspect of your responsibilities.
Your approach to this role should be characterized by curiosity and conviction, as you lead discussions and answer questions with confidence. Staying informed about industry trends and current events will be important, as will enjoying collaboration within a motivated and exceptional team.
