Description

ABOUT US

Genesis Restorations Ltd. is a trusted leader in specialty cleaning, infection control support, and restoration services. With over 35 years of experience, we proudly serve healthcare, long-term care, and commercial facilities across British Columbia and Western Canada. Our team is known for delivering verifiable, high-quality results on schedule and within budget.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Business Development / Sales Representative to expand our presence in acute care and long-term care facilities within our service area. The successful candidate will focus on building strong relationships with facility and maintenance operations staff, promoting Genesis’ services, and driving new business.
This role also provides key marketing and business development support for our Infection Control Construction Division, ensuring consistent follow-up, professional event coordination, and effective client engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in selling products or services to hospitals is essential — candidates without healthcare sales experience will not be considered.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare facility operations, infection control, and/or facility maintenance environments.
  • Proven success in B2B sales, relationship-building, and business development.
  • Excellent organizational and event planning skills (experience coordinating conferences, seminars, or lunch & learns is a plus).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within BC and occasionally across Western Canada.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with facility managers, maintenance operations, and healthcare decision-makers.
  • Generate new business opportunities in acute care hospitals, long-term care, and related healthcare sectors.
  • Plan, organize, and execute lunch & learn sessions (full logistics) so senior leaders (Graham, Andrew, Kyle) can focus on delivering presentations.
  • Lead the organization of Genesis’ annual presence at the BC CHES Conference (our signature event of the year).
  • Support marketing initiatives, client follow-ups, and proposals for the Infection Control Construction Division.
  • Identify growth opportunities for both local-only services and Western Canada-wide specialty services.
  • Track, report, and achieve sales goals through consistent prospecting and relationship management.
