Your Day to Day As a Business Development Representative, you would be working on: Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads/customer opportunities, taking initiative to build pipeline and next steps through call lists, marketing campaigns and self-directed outreach/prospecting Engage prospects confidently by phone and other outreach methods, with a consistent, disciplined approach to achieving activity and sales targets Manage time and priorities effectively to maintain strong organization, follow-through, and progress toward quota-aligned goals Apply a structured sales approach to conversations, discovery, and qualification Collaborate with a “team-first” mindset, aligning individual outcomes to broader team and regional success What We’re Looking For As a Business Development Representative, your background will look like: Strong motivation to sell with a hunger for achievement, comfort with high-effort outbound work, and ownership of results. Eagerness to learn and ability to incorporate feedback to quickly adapt Proven organizational and time-management skills to structure work and consistently deliver against targets Prior experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR) role preferred and/or foundational sales experience Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., SANDLER or similar), with the ability to learn and apply structured selling practices Exposure to SaaS sales and/or understanding of the channel sales landscape, with openness to coaching and feedback At GoTo, you’ll find the flexibility, resources, and support you need to thrive—at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
