JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The BDR will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for our automotive bodyshop. This role is crucial for expanding our client base, which includes securing contracts with insurance companies, fleet managers, car dealerships, and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive go-getter with excellent communication skills and a passion for the automotive industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the automotive, insurance, or fleet services industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license in UAE

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to build rapport quickly and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate and close new business contracts effectively.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly disciplined and able to work independently to achieve goals with minimal supervision.
  • Networking Abilities: Comfortable and effective at building professional relationships in person and online.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Industry: Familiarity with automotive repair processes, insurance claims, and fleet management is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Actively research, identify, and qualify new business leads and potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, networking events, and industry databases.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at insurance companies, fleet management firms, local dealerships, and other potential partners.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value and quality of our services.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Assist in the negotiation of new contracts and service agreements to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
  • Reporting: Track all sales activities and progress, and provide regular reports on lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline status.
  • Client Onboarding: Work with the operations team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new corporate clients and fleet accounts.
  • Brand Promotion: Act as a brand ambassador for the Body Shop, promoting our reputation for high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service.
