About the Role We are hiring an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate qualified pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting. This is a dedicated outbound role where cold calling is the primary channel. LinkedIn and email are used to support outreach, follow-up, and account penetration, but success in this role comes from consistent phone activity, strong communication skills, and the ability to create opportunities from scratch. You will identify target accounts, engage decision-makers, qualify early interest, and book meetings for the Account Executive team. Primary Objective Generate qualified pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting. What You’ll Own Researching target accounts, buyers, and key contacts Cold calling as the primary outreach channel Multi-channel outbound sequences using phone, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email Booking qualified meetings for Account Executives Initial qualification through outbound conversations Accurate activity tracking and cadence management in HubSpot Maintaining clean CRM records and follow-up tasks Sharing messaging insights and market feedback with leadership What We’re Looking For 1 to 3 years of experience in outbound sales, SDR, BDR, lead generation, or prospecting roles Confidence in making cold calls daily Strong spoken and written English communication skills Ability to handle objections and build interest quickly Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline Self-motivated, coachable, and resilient Comfortable working in a fast-paced performance environment Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or AI is a plus Work Schedule Lyzr works with prospects and customers across multiple global regions. Flexibility is required to align with changing business priorities, campaigns, and prospect availability across time zones. Working hours will be set with your manager based on territory focus, campaign needs, and regional coverage. This role may require regular overlap with North America, Europe, or other international markets, depending on business needs.
