Description ABOUT US: Optidge is a home-grown remote-first digital marketing agency supporting small and medium businesses with SEO, paid media, and web development services. We’re a team of ~40 spread through the US and internationally, aligning to values of Mentorship, Stewardship, Excellence, and Communication. THE ROLE: The Business Development Representative will report to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO/CEO), working alongside the sales and marketing team to establish an outbound sales function for the first time on our team. This role is perfect for someone with experience building an outbound sales funnel, owning initial qualifying conversations, with agency model awareness. This is a contract position with the opportunity to grow over time, budgeted at 20 - 25 hours per week. This role has a base rate of $25 - $30 per hour, with commission/bonuses tied to SQLs brought in, and close bonuses for each won deal generated. OTE estimates are between 70-75k. Day To Day and Year 1: Research potential client companies and build + launch targeted outreach that speaks to their needs and the services we offer Build contact lists and maintain records of outreach, responses, and qualifying notes in our CRM (Hubspot) Act as the “qualifying checkpoint” for first touch inbound and outbound leads, ensuring service needs and deliverables align Within 1 month you’ll… Have fully onboarded into Optidge, understand our service lines, value proposition, and internal processes Build a target contact list(s) with customized outreach workflows/sequences Achieve 10-20 outbound touches/day and have 2-4 qualified meetings booked By 3 months you’ll… Understand, own, and operate the outbound and inbound qualifying process for any new leads Develop Ideal Customer profiles and identify which contact lists are most performant to gain new leads Have booked 4-6 qualified meetings from outbound outreach each month At 6+ months you’ll… Have had at least one sourced lead translate into a closed deal Consistently book Sales Qualified Leads into meetings with team members Created a well-oiled machine of research, outreach, followups, and qualifying new leads Requirements Your Experience To be successful in this role, you should have accomplished the below and be confident in owning each area on our team: Experience selling services for an agency or similar type of business, ideally one with multiple service lines Have gained a high level understanding of marketing services - ideally Paid Media and SEO. Build rapport while assessing expectations and client needs Strong writing, communication, and research skills to build target client lists and outreach workflows. WHY OPTIDGE?
