THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE – MID-MARKET & SMB

The Business Development team is instrumental in driving revenue growth to the Sales teams’ pipelines by focusing on generating business through account research, strategic prospecting, and impactful outreach. This role will support our Sales’ SMB team, and the Partner Sales team, which includes a pipeline of Mid-Market CROs. The Partner Sales team specializes in engaging with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) worldwide, facilitating value-added partnerships to function as a sales channel to effectively support sponsors in the clinical trial space.
We are looking for dynamic, high-energy talent to drive revenue growth to the Sales teams’ pipeline. In this role, you will develop a pipeline of targeted accounts for SMB Accounts and Mid-Market CROs, and execute innovative and impactful outreach efforts. If you excel at problem-solving, strategic thinking and creative outreach that drives results, this could be a role for you.

Responsibilities
  • Generate a pipeline of business through strategic and targeted outbound prospecting for both SMB and Mid-Market accounts.
  • Research and build accounts which includes, for example, finding prospects, reaching out strategically by phone, emails, InMails.
  • Balance and prioritize targeted accounts and various initiatives to meet and exceed your monthly metrics and quarterly targets.
  • Ability to confidently communicate and collaborate with the Sales team on account planning and overall strategy and approach.
  • Manage time effectively to pursue accounts with prospects across multiple time zones.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows and networking events, when needed.
