JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Inside Sales Equipment Finance BDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new equipment financing opportunities within the Ritchie Bros customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to identify potential new financing clients, engage with them through various communication channels, and create credit applications for the account management team. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow within a fast-paced environment while contributing to the company’s success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Past sales, telemarketing, or outbound call experience an asset.
  • Office and/or remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify potential clients in various industries that may benefit from equipment financing solutions.
  • Outbound Outreach: Conduct warm outbound calls, send emails, and utilize other methods of communication to connect with prospects and introduce our services.
  • Qualification: Engage with leads to understand their needs, assess their eligibility, and qualify them for the account management team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers to ensure a smooth handoff of completed credit applications and provide necessary context for effective follow-up.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and update CRM systems to track progress and results.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed monthly quotas for outbound calls, call conversions, and credit applications created.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
