We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join the Sales team. In this role, you’ll be leading proactive outbound prospecting, driving new leads and collaborating closely with our Account Executives. Your insights and efforts will support identifying and qualifying opportunities that propel our success forward.
Our Ideal Candidate is… highly motivated, resourceful, and has a growth mindset, making you a natural in key activities such as generating and qualifying leads, running initial prospect meetings, and collaborating with marketing to optimize outreach strategies. You are exceptionally skilled at understanding prospect needs, aligning opportunities with business objectives, and maintaining accurate CRM data for seamless tracking and reporting. You are successful at building strong relationships with prospects and internal teams, qualifying leads based on current pain points, ensuring alignment with our assets before ensuring a smooth handoff to the sales team. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated excellence in aligning with marketing campaigns and has consistently shown adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy new challenges and thrive in a collaborative team setting.
We are a virtual organization and as a remote worker you must be comfortable and able to work 100 per cent of the time from a home office in Canada. To be successful as a remote worker you need to have a self-starter attitude, possess strong organizational and time management skills and be a proactive communicator. Having a home office environment that provides for a productive, professional, and safe work environment during regular working/business hours is a requirement of this role.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in outbound prospecting and lead generation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct effective initial meetings and lead qualification.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience CRM systems and accurate data tracking.
- Ability to align with Marketing strategies and campaigns to optimize lead-generation efforts.
- A keen interest in learning, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

The hiring zone for this position is $48,110 - $56,600 annually for candidates from any Canadian province or territory. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, specific skillsets, as well as market and business considerations. The full compensation band for this position ranges from $48,110 - $65,090. The recruiter can share more information about compensation for the position during the hiring process.
