QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years in B2B sales or business development, preferably in construction, environmental services, or water treatment industries.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results-driven with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with construction project life cycles and compliance standards is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.

Other:

  • Office Hours; Monday to Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM (Extended and overtime hours may be required).
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Business Development Representative, you will be the driving force behind our expansion into construction-sector accounts. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and promoting our water treatment systems to construction companies, contractors, and project developers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively identify and qualify new business leads within the construction sector.
  • Establish and build relationships with contractors, developers, and project managers.
  • Promote water treatment solutions tailored to construction site requirements (e.g. stormwater management, sediment control, wastewater recycling).
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and technical overviews.
  • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to customize solutions.
  • Track leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity using CRM tools.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
