The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a crucial role in driving our company’s growth by generating leads and building relationships with potential clients. You will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, identifying new business opportunities and setting the stage for our sales team to close deals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with IT services or managed service providers (MSPs).
  • Experience with social media outreach and networking.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position primarily requires sedentary work with occasional standing and walking.
  • The candidate must be able to use a computer for extended periods.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential clients and decision-makers in various industries.
  • Initiate contact with prospects through cold calling, emailing, and social media.
  • Qualify leads and set appointments for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead generation and outreach activities in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine lead generation strategies.
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly outbound call and appointment-setting targets.
  • Attend in person Networking Events, Associational Meetings, and Canvas Prospective Customers
