With strong product-market fit and consistent inbound demand, the team has built a high-velocity sales motion and is now investing in outbound to accelerate growth. The company operates in a large, fragmented market with significant opportunity, and the team is focused on building a durable, category-defining business. The Opportunity Our partner is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help build and scale their outbound engine. This role will focus on top-of-funnel pipeline generation, working closely with Account Executives and leadership to identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities. You will play a critical role in expanding market reach by connecting directly with decision-makers and helping shape outbound strategy. This is a strong opportunity for someone who is early in their sales career and wants to develop into a closing role, while gaining exposure to a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. Responsibilities Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting (calls, email, events, and conferences) Identify and engage key decision-makers within target accounts Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives Support field and event-based prospecting efforts, including conferences Collaborate with AEs to refine messaging and improve conversion rates Maintain accurate records of outreach, activity, and pipeline in CRM systems Provide feedback on market trends and prospect responses to improve go-to-market strategy Requirements 0–3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and operating in dynamic environments Proactive, organized, and driven to meet and exceed targets Ability to operate with a high level of ownership and adaptability Interest in growing into a full-cycle sales role over time
