As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for TeamSupport’s Sales team, you will directly influence sales success and company growth. In this role, you will identify and lead prospects through the early stages of the buyer’s journey by creating awareness and providing education. This role requires a driven individual with a passion for growing companies, creativity, articulate professionalism, and the ability to understand client pain points and how our solutions address them. We are a remote-first, global company with team members across the U.S., Europe, and South Africa. What You’ll Do Prospecting: Identify potential clients through research, cold calling, networking, and system-generated leads. Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on specific criteria to ensure they align with our target customer profile. Initial Contact: Contact prospective clients to introduce TeamSupport’s products/services and understand their needs. Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or demos with qualified leads for the Account Executive. Product Knowledge: Learn and apply knowledge of TeamSupport product features to match the needs of potential clients. Inquiry Response: Answer inquiries from prospects concerning products, their uses, and industry information. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective lead generation and conversion strategies. Reporting: Periodically prepare and report results, status of accounts, and leads to the manager. Goal Achievement: Maintain monthly goals and quotas. Requirements What Set's You Up for Success Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably SaaS. Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills. Sales Skills: Confident in cold calling and excellent sales and negotiation skills. Tech-Savvy: Ability to grasp new technologies and software; proficiency with Google platform, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Seamless.ai, and RingCentral is a plus. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to identify potential opportunities.
